What Do I Do to Know this Living God?2015-02-11T21:22:41-05:00

In the Bible, God tells us that “… your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hidden His face from you, that He will not hear”( Isaiah Chapter 59, verse 2). God declares in the Book of Romans, chapter 6, and verse 23 that “..the wages of sin ( iniquities) is death (eternal separation from God).” God tells us the good news at the end of the same verse “...but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” If we agree with God that we are sinners, and that Jesus Christ died in our place, we can have an eternal relationship with God through Jesus Christ by asking Christ to come into our heart. In the last book of the Bible, The Revelation, Jesus Christ says “Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come into him, and will sup with him, and he with me”. Jesus Christ is knocking at the door of your heart even as you are reading this message. Will you open you heart to Him? Will you ask Him to come into your heart as your substitute sin bearer? The Gospel of John is the book of the Bible that tells of the life and works of Jesus Christ. It is called the ‘Gospel of Belief!
